Scroll Saw jewelry boxes my way of building them and not band saw boxes
Each piece of the main body is glued together with 4 -1/8" dowels for alignment as the glue is setting up then I I keep repeating this process until the body gets wide enough for the drawer s gets about 8 or 9 inches long. Each drawer piece is sawed out and kept for the drawers later...Very time consuming and the main body ends up as one single piece with no slits going from one drawer to the other. This is the only way I could make a box with no seasonal shrinking or expanding. No plans for this as it was drawn up on a piece of graph paper.
I made 4 different boxes and there is different pictures of the boxes but is most all the steps involved. The Drawer fronts are wider than the holes in the bodies. I used Brass welding rods for part s of the drawer pulls. Got to be different or else it ain't mine.` I did have trouble finding enough for the wood was swed out sitting at an RV park at South Park, Colo about 15 years ago.
Finish: staining then Lacquer
