Leopardwood Edge Cutting Board

I used leopardwood on the outside as a decorative touch. Without the availability of an electric planer, I used pins to align the top edge. This reduced need for a lot of hand planing. The surface was sanded and buffed to 3000 grit. Used a generous amount of Mahoney’s carnauba wax and walnut oil finish. Allowed it to dry for an hour and buffed out. The end result is 18x17x1.75” on wooden feet with rubber pads. This project took 4 days.

Finish: Mahoney’s Finishes, Oil Wax Finish
