The Winston Table - Floating Drawer

What a sublime masterpiece by Jim Binder of the Tempe Woodworkers Source location!

Jim bleached the white oak to amplify its crisp 90-degree design, and "hung" a highly contrasting morado shelf-compartment-thingy seemingly (and flawlessly) floating under the table top.

He crafted a continuous grain box out of gorgeous morado to serve as an unassuming - or perhaps hidden - storage space. The only access to it is through a panel attached by magnet and otherwise unnoticed by the casual observer.

Finish: Daly's wood bleach & Arm-R-Seal on the white oak; blonde shellac on the morado
