IKEA Bed Railing

Not every project is glamorous, some just take care of a utility need. Our son grew out of his crib and needed a new bed. The only problem, he can't control his movement and we needed a safe bed that he wouldn't roll out of.

We took an IKEA day bed that already had 3 sides and built a railing for the front with poplar. The pieces are ripped to 2" and planed to 1/2" thick.
