In short, I probably won't buy wood online again. \r\n\r\nGenerally, the "good" face was just ok--not much sapwood, but some pretty deep saw marks (3/32") in part of one of the boards. Because of the composition of the board, planing it off led to exposure of sapwood around the edges. The other board a significant bow that made it unusable for my intended project (I would say out of tolerance for the 3/4 final thickness advertised).\r\n\r\nMy sample size is 2 boards from one order, so perhaps it was just an outlier.
