Quality product from Woodworkers Source Soft maple was great for machining & joinery but very very difficult to stain dark. Be careful.

Overall happy with service, even received a call from the person putting the order together about the length of boards I ordered which were 6' lengths which he could not do but he could do 36-37" which was what my project was so that was good, however the widths I asked for was 10" and I only received 3 boards(9') around 10" and the rest were 6"(15'), perhaps I misunderstood the process. Because of the smaller width I had to some planing and glueing, fortunate that I had ordered more then I needed. Need to make sure you understand what you are getting when you order.

I bought 130 Ft of 6/4 S2S soft maple online -- sight unseen. And I am completely satisfied. Communication has been excellent. Packaging was well done, with no damage, and delivery was very fast. I have resawn to 1/2" for drawer boxes and the wood has behaved beautifully with minimal warpage. Very nice grain pattern with few knots. Side waste will be under 5%. I would do this all over again.
