Sapele Ribbon Stripe Dimensioned Hobby Boards 3/4" x 5.5" (Choose Your Length)

Showing off a consistent color that's much like Mahogany, this ribbon stripe Sapele comes with a much lower price.
 
The ribbon stripe figure comes from quarter sawing the log - the interlocked grain of Sapele produces the length wise stripes, or ribbons. (See this picture in our Project Gallery) An added benefit to quarter sawn lumber is the utmost stability.
 

Easy Size!
Hobby boards make it easy to get started on your project. They're perfectly sized to nominal 1x6 boards (3/4"x5.5" to be exact) with clean, straight edges and smooth faces. They're lovingly milled from kiln dried, Select & Better lumber so you get gorgeous, clear, ready-to-use wood.

Sapele is an exotic wood from Africa

Gorgeous mahogany look-alike with a slightly finer texture than Honduras Mahogany, and a typically interlocked grain. Sapele is also a lustrous wood that works fairly well in all operations - planing, sawing, routing, sanding, etc.
