I've never ordered lumber online, as a matter of fact I've never even bought wood in board feet. I'm new to wood working, but Corey at the Woodworkers Source was super helpful. He contacted me when there was an issue with the Sapele; some planer skip that would leave the stock thinner than expected once removed. I told him what I was doing with the wood and that it would be fine and shortly there after I had 25 board feet of some VERY pretty wood. I am nearly done with the cabinet now and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Thanks Woodworkers Source, I can't wait to order my next project's wood from you.

So over Christmas my wife said she wanted to redo our kitchen island top and wanted me to do it. I've done a lot with wood in the house but have never done a counter. we looked at thousands of wood and she decided she wanted Beech and Sapele, I've never worked with Sapele before and find it easy to cut and sand. Do to the size of my shop, (small is being generous) all my tools are on wheels and need to go outside for me to work inside, and with the temps around 30 during the day and teens at night with snow falling it gets hard to work at a steady tempo, at this point all boards are cut and as soon as it dries up I will be planning the pieces and gluing them up.

Received 5 bf of your 8/4 sapele. It was well packaged and received in good time. This will finish real nice with iridescent hues and patterns.

I'm working on a Sapele King size bed frame with decorative headboard. The 8/4 Ribbon Sapele from Woodworker's was perfect from one end to the other. Packed with care at a great price and arrived faster than expected. I highly recommend Woodworkers!
