My first view of roasted red oak (who knew it existed).
The selection of boards are great, flawless and usable with minimum milling.

roasted oak looks very good
Roasted oak looks very good and is a good alternative for other dark species. It seems to lose some weight in the roasting process and feels a little stiffer. I have not started but I am going to use it for 3 table tops.
