Reviews for 4/4 Morado Shorts Pack 24" Long

This is the 3rd order of this wood that I have made and each is beautiful. The color and grain result in a gorgeous product. Goes through the table saw, planer and joiner crisply with no noticeable tear out. Easy to work and yields a wonderful product, what more can you ask for?

This wood is one of my favorites. I bought this short pack without reading the details. You're going to have issues making anything with the size included in this pack. I would recommend purchasing the “normal" length, that way you'll be able to make furniture and won't waste your money on shorts.

The Morado 4/4 Shorts were advertised on the Woodworkerssource website with a special price offer. Since I have experienced great results with my previous 6 piece Genuine Mahogany order, I immediately responded to get the Morado Shorts. The Morado order arrived in great shape and was obviously quality material.

This wood is so pretty when finished with oil! It works well with power and hand tools and is definitely one of my favorites now.

Quickly received my order, which was very well packaged. By my calculations, even after factoring in the one board with about 4" of deep checking that won't be usable, I still received nearly 6% more usable linear length than what was committed. Super impressed.

This was my second order of Morado and the wood is as beautiful as the first order. color ranges from deep brown to a lighter brown with remarkable parts of sapwood that have a clear delineation from the heartwood so there are pieces of light color, almost like maple that seem to highlight the darker colors. And the grain provides a texture that is striking. The wood needs planing so will be 3/4" when completed but I found that to me perfect for my projects.

Was very impressed with the 10 pack but only received 9 board but did have 10 board feet in the pack. The wood in the pack was outstanding just have to figure out what to build.

Beautiful grain and lovely color in both dark and changing to light on some pieces. Thank You, as always great to deal with.

This Morado is beautiful when finished with oil and works very well with hand and power tools. The only issue I had was some small holes in almost every piece that looked like nail holes. Didn't look like knots or naturally occuring. Anyway just had to fill them with black and they look fine. I will probably order more soon.

I have not had a chance to work this product at this time. Probably make a jewelry box for my wife. this wood is beautiful........James Morales.
