All natural. That’s why they call it canarywood.

Not all hardwood trees can consistently produce nice looking wood that also nails the sweet spot of good workability, but this one does. Expect canarywood to machine, glue and shape just about as well as American walnut does. It’s a delight to build with.

Remarkbaly, this wood is well controlled so it only becomes available to woodworkers every few years. And that’s a testament to what certain regions are doing to protect – yet bring value to – the earth’s natural resourses. This wood, like many others, will be around a long time if we’re willing to give it value and to ensure its viability for years to come.

So watch this video as I take you through a quick and simple finishing process that will help make the wonderful color look its best and last the longest. I used a great serving tray as the medium, so if you want to know about how I made it, checkout 5:16 through the end of the video for how it’s done.

Enjoy, and post your questions below.

See Canarywood lumber for your projects

View All Canarywood Lumber Now

ngg_shortcode_0_placeholder

Let’s just get it out of the way that this wood is yet another stunning beauty that you may or may not have encountered before.
