But we do get very good rates thanks to the volume of shipping we do.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;<strong>2 Ways to Get a Rate<\/strong>\n<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Add items to your cart then click &#8220;Estimate Shipping&#8221;<\/li><li>Call or email the Help Desk to ask for a quote<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>To get you an accurate quote, we need to know 3 things from you:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&nbsp;Quantity of lumber\/product&nbsp;<\/li><li>&nbsp;Shipping destination&nbsp;<\/li><li>&nbsp;Special requirements for lumber sizes, and\/or special requirements for delivery&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Some of our products include shipping or have a simple flat rate, which is clearly stated on the product&#8217;s page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On\n other products, shipping charges are determined by UPS, USPS, or a \ntruck freight carrier, depending on the size of the order in question.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong> Tips for getting your best shipping rate <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&nbsp;Pay attention to the order weight. The highest (worst) shipping rates occur 1 to 5 lbs, and 71 to 79 lbs&nbsp;<\/li><li>&nbsp;The best rates occur between 60 and 69 lbs (for UPS shipments)&nbsp;<\/li><li>&nbsp;Go bulk! Shipments of 150 lbs or more \nget the absolute best rate-per-foot. You get more wood for your dollar \nthan you do with smaller shipments.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Shipping a quantity of 1 of any \nkind of wood, veneer, or plywood is very inefficient.
