Public Woodworking Show<\/h2>\n

Consider this your official invite to come on down to our store to browse through the 100-or-so entries in our latest woodworking contest<\/p>\n

Woodworkers from all over the state have made a vast array of handcrafted projects and they’re on display in this show. Come check them out. (What’s this contest all about? Details are here ><\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n

In fact, voting is open to the public<\/strong><\/em>, so you\u2019re encouraged to cast a vote for your favorite 5 entries \u2013 yes, it’ll be tough to decide but your contribution is one way that makes this event so much fun. <\/p>\n

First place winner is going to get $500 credit + a new SawStop table saw!<\/p>\n

Awards Night & Reception<\/h2>\n

This is going to be a cool event. I like to think of it as a woodworking art show.<\/p>\n

All the projects will be on display, we\u2019re providing some hors d\u2019oeuvres and beverages, many of the makers (hopefully all!) will be there, plus it\u2019ll be your last chance to log a vote for your favorites \u2014 and then we\u2019ll announce the winners and pass out prizes.<\/p>\n

This is a special show just for you. There won’t be any vendors peddling drills or sandpaper or any of that business. <\/p>\n

Instead, this evening is about recognizing artwork and the fantastic people who build beautiful things out of wood. It\u2019s not everyday you get to see a collection of just custom made wood projects under one roof. We think of this as a special woodworking evening that you can’t get anywhere else<\/em>.<\/p>\n

I sure hope you’ll come experience it — I would be overjoyed to see you there.<\/p>\n

In fact, bring your friends and family if you can (and make them cast a vote!) We expect to announce the winners and start passing out prizes around 6:15 pm<\/strong>, as it\u2019ll take some time for us to tally up the votes.<\/p>\n

So enjoy the hors d\u2019oeuvres and beverages we\u2019ll provide, peruse the projects, and chat with the other builders.<\/p>\n
