Because there’s not much of a playbook for how to deal with the current situation, I think I should clarify a few things regarding the safety of Woodworkers Source’s customers and employees.

During these uncertain times, many of us are looking for ways to stay calm, productive and healthy. Spending more time building a project might be your way to keep positive and productive while spending time alone.

We’ll do our best to help you out.

Operating Hours

We’re open 8:00 am- 5:00 pm, Monday- Saturday.

But see below for the limitations at the stores, because each of our locations is a little bit different.

Store Pick Up & Delivery, Customer Limitations Inside

Each store has different capabilities and limitations for delivery options, but whatever you need we’ll do our best to work with you.

Phoenix Location:

Effective April 1, 2020, store pick-up or delivery only. That means customers are not allowed inside the Phoenix store.

Arrange what you need ahead of time with the staff, they’ll pull the order and meet you at the door with your goods.

Tempe & Tucson Locations:

Only 3 customers in the store at one time, and we are enforcing a minimum 6′ distance between people.

Tempe: 480-355-5090 tempe@woodworkerssource.com

Tucson: 520-745-8301 tucson@woodworkerssource.com

We’re a pretty small outfit, we’re trying to keep positive and deal with this ever changing world. Please be patient and model good behavior.

Custom Milling, Cutting and Sanding Services

These services are still available.

You are welcome to drop off work to be completed during business hours, and set up a time to pick it up with the store staff.

Unfortunately, you can not wait inside the store for it to be completed.

Please call ahead to arrange anything you need to be completed at a certain time.

Online Ordering & Shipping Delays

We’re open for business as usual on online.

Your online orders are shipping out 7-8 days after they’re placed under the current conditions.

We are dealing with a very sudden doubling in online order volume. As we look to add additional workers and get them trained, it’s going to take some time to catch up. I hope you can understand the situation and extend us some patience.

Here’s the bottom line for ordering lumber – the less complicated your requests for sizes or other selection requirements are, the faster we can ship it out.

Online Ordering & Support

Our website and online helpdesk remain open and our fulfillment team is working around the clock. However, we do ask for your patience and understanding as we deal with a large number of orders that are flowing in at a faster rate than normal due to the current circumstances.

You can talk with us a bunch of ways, though:

  • Live Chat
  • Email: helpdesk@woodworkerssource.com
  • Call: 800-423-2450

Friday Night Classes

In an effort to do our part to limit the spread of the illness, we are going to postpone the once-a-month woodworking classes we do on Friday nights. We will bring these back as soon as possible.

Lumber Supply

There’s been a pinch in the distribution flow of lumber and other goods that move by shipping container. Over the next few weeks (or longer) we will experience some temporary low stock and/or out-of-stock situations on some items. That’s just a heads-up…. we’re good for the next couple of weeks on most things.
