No kidding! This is one gigantic piece of bubinga, and you just don't see this every day. The 86 board feet that make up this slab weighs over 400 lbs and came out of a tree that must have made some serious noise when it came down. We've had all of these Bubinga slabs (several more are in stock) kiln dried and sanded smooth on both faces so you can see the awesome waterfall figure and swirling grain patterns -- you'll bruise your chin (whack! Right to the floor) when you see this up close. This board must ship via truck freight and be off-loaded with a forklift

Characteristics:
Fine grained. Hard and heavy. Takes a high lustrous finish. The wood works without difficulty except for gum pockets. Some logs are figured with a wavy, roey grain.
