Now don't be fooled. This is called black limba not because it's totally black but because the wood exhibits irregular, erratic, and sporadic black lines. It's a stunner that adds character and life to your projects for sure. You're looking at a wood that's very lightweight, extraordinarily decorative, and pretty nice to work. And therefore leaving you almost no reason not to try this out. These squares are cut on all 4 sides, measuring 1-15/16'' square and 30'' long.

What's the wood like?
Lumber is separated for color and sold as white (without black streaks) or black (with black streaks). The wood is relatively soft and easy to work. Medium coarse texture. Open pores require filling for a smooth surface.
