Thickness: 1-13/16'' thick, surfaced smooth two sides (8/4 S2S)
Widths: 4''-7'' with the edges still rough. Straight line ripping on one edge is available as well (see below).
Lengths: Up to 8'. Longer lengths may be available for local pick up or truck freight shipment. Contact us to verify.

Color:
Dark golden yellow turning dark brown with age.
Characteristics:
Easily worked with both hand and machine tools and dresses to a very smooth finish if tools are kept sharp. Glues moderately well with fresh, clean cut surfcaes despite its oily nature. Naturally durable and weathers well.
Typical Uses:
Furniture, flooring, carving, cabinets, interior millwork, turnery, shipbuilding, and exterior and marine applications.
