 What's the wood like?
This fine textured and dense wood becomes creamy golden tan with extended exposure. Works and finishes nicely due to the density and extremely fine texture.  How's the color?
Mild yellowish tan, very creamy and even colored.  Does it go by other names?
Amarello, Amargosa, Ibira romi, Palo rosa, Peroba rosa, Red peroba, Rosa peroba  What could I use it for?
Furniture, flooring, musical instruments, other interior millwork.  What is the tree like?
Peroba attains an average height of 90 feet and an average trunk diameter of 30 inches, but it may grow larger under different conditions. The tree usually develops a straight and clear bole.
