Botanical Name: Dalbergia retusa

Color: Variegated orange, yellow dark red with irregular black stripes.

Characteristics: Hard and heavy. Works and turns well. Finishes very smoothly. Oils in the wood produces a natural polish but may cause problems with lacquer or urethane finishes.

Typical Uses: Turning, handles, inlay, accessories.
