Purchase a Project Pack when you need enough wood to make a medium sized project like a coffee table or cabinet. As usual, all the lumber is surfaced on two sides (S2S), and kiln dried.

Botanical Name: Acer rubrum

Characteristics: Resembles Hard Maple being closed-grained but much softer. Easily worked. Turns and planes well. Does not require fillers to achieve a glass smooth finish. Accepts finish and paint well

Typical Uses: Furniture, cabinets, a good general purpose hardwood
