 What's the wood like?
A very strong, dense, and hard wood that surprisingly decent to work with and looks incredible with a clear finish. The wood often displays dark, or nearly black, lines and irregular stripes which makes it nice for fine woodwork pieces.  How's the color?

The tree is reported to reach a height of about 80 feet (24 m), with a trunk diameter of 24 to 36 inches (60 to 90 cm). It develops straight and clear boles that are about 24 feet (7 m) long.
