Managing the north Phoenix store since 1997, John makes sure the mail order department runs smoothly and that all the lumber gets distributed to the other two stores.
Doug has covered a variety of skills with growing up on a mid-west farm, being a para-trooper for the U.S. Army, and managing lumberyards. He’s been with us since 2001.
Craig handles all customer service aspects of the mail order department with the help of 2 assistants from time to time. Most often, he’s the one answering the calls on the toll free line.

“Hi, I’m Keith Stephens. I founded Woodworkers Source in 1978. The business grew from my favorite pastime activity -- woodworking. Boxes, furniture, and turnings are my favorite items. I search the world for wood and oversee our operations. Over the years I have accumulated a wood sample collection of about 1500 different wood species. This collection is on display in our conference room. If you have a special need, or if I can help in any way just ask for me. Our goal is simple—“Help our customers be successful in their woodworking projects.”
“Hello, my name is Betty Stephens. I have been active in Woodworkers Source since the beginning. These days I am responsible for accounts receivable and payable. I will be happy to help you with your questions or refer you to one of our experts".
Mark took over the mail order department in 2001. At the time, he handled all calls, emails, faxes, and letters by himself and with just one employee handling the selecting, packaging and shipping. Eventually, Mark expanded the program to include three full-time employees and two part-time.
Today, Mark takes care of the marketing and advertising for the company, and still helps mail order customers.
