Koa Characteristics

Often curly figure. Not terribly hard or heavy. Fine texture and takes a high lustrous finish. Works easily, comparable to Teak.

Color Range

Light to dark brown with distinct golden luster, sometimes with irregular dark streaks.

What's the Tree Like?

A very adaptive tree - grows from nearly sea level to the mountain top. In areas of heavy rain reaches 80-100 feet with a trunk of 36-48''.
