A big Hooray for Huayruro, 3.29.2012

Packaging and shipping response time are excellent. The best feature of Huayruro is it's natural color when finished with clear only. The color appears to be colonial maple. It's tendency to splinter is the reason I gave it a 4. A picture of the finished lathe project will be uploaded next.

This was a surprise. The grain patterns are rich and consistent across pieces. My first project with huayruro will be a Frank Lloyd Wright design coffee table. (He used oak.) I'm imagining something that will cause "WOWS".
