[+] What if I need specific sizes? You'll have to cut your own pieces to size. Hardwood lumber is sold as a bulk raw product, which means that our stacks of lumber have a big variety of sizes most often from 4" up to 12" wide, and 6' to 16' long.
- Only some unusual exotic woods are narrower than 4" and under 6' long. This is clearly stated when that's the case, everything else is larger.
- We always ship the longest boards possible, and rarely ship boards less than 48" long unless you request shorter. The longest we can ship by UPS is 96" (that's 8').
For general fine woodworking, the various widths and lengths meet the needs and desires of woodworkers building furniture, cabinetry, and fine woodwork. But we do understand that certain projects have some requirements, and we're happy to help you out.
Here's how we can help you get the sizes you need:
- We can hand-select material that will yeild what you need. Type your needs into the "Selection" field right above the Add to Cart button above when you place your order. 4 things to know about size requests
- We can do some custom milling or cutting. Please call or email to talk about your needs.
Ground Shipping is included anywhere in the 48 U.S.! (What does that mean?)

Great Quality and Fast Delivery, 4.7.2012

Great Quality- clear both sides with exceptional grain. Width was 6 to 8 inches wide and thick enough (7/8" to 15/16") to
resaw and yield 3/8"+ finished material. For boxes this means
buy 10bf and get 20bf of box material. I would not hesitate to
order more material from Woodworkers Source. Packaging was also
exceptional.

Shipment arrived with a few dings to one of the top pieces. Called and discussed with customer service and they were very willing to make up for the minor damage. They promised to make a compensation on my next order. Time will tell if that happens.

I don't think you can find better quality padauk anywhere else, these boards were awesome in color, size, everything. The cabinet I made out of it and maple really pops. On the negative side, this being my first experience with this wood, the dust is so fine and so orange, the mess is a little intense, and the respirator was a must at all times. Love Padauk, one of my new favorites, but a lot of my clothes and equipment are still orange. One of a kind wood, I wouldnt get it anywhere else, customer service, quality, and overall consumer experience, A++

beautiful pieces of wood. Will be doing some inlaying of it in a dining room table I am making. The quality of the craft pack was excellent. This was my fourth purchase and I have not been displeased with any of them.
