Rich strawberry red sometimes with golden yellow stripes or small sections of nearly white/yellowish sapwood.
Characteristics:
Also called Satine. Hard and heavy but not difficult to work. Takes a high lustrous finish.
Typical Uses:
Turnery, furniture, cabinets, widely used for tourist novelties in Brazil.
