A variety of exotic wood platter-sized turning blanks in one simple package. Turn gorgeous platter-sized bowls and dishes with this assortment of wood turning blanks. Includes three (3) blanks 2" x 12" x 12" and cut from premium exotic kiln dried lumber. Woods are selected from Afrormosia, Bubinga, Iroko, Limba, Mahogany (African or Genuine), Paduak, Sapele, Wenge, Zebrawood, Canarywood, Jatoba, Purple Heart, or Beech and you are assured three (3) different wood types.

There was a small shipping hiccup, which was rectified immediately. Things happen sometimes, it's how customer service handles the situation that makes up my mind if I'm doing any more business with a company. I'll definitely be back. Regarding the blanks, it's not easy finding dry platter blanks this size. The wood was dry and ready to turn, several pieces were 14X14 or larger. I will buy this set of platter blanks again!

I got a picee of wenge, purpleheart and brazil cherry. not bad. eac one a little over 12" and the wenge was 14". funny, 'cuz my fvorite of thes was the braz. cherry made a really nice dish that sits on the hall talbe now.
