Irregular variation of cream white to reddish brown and yellow; with mineral streaks and minimal black spalting lines.

Characteristics:
Spalting is created as decaying logs are attacked by fungi. The lumber must be manufactured after decay has started but before the wood deteriorates and becomes spongy. The great benefit of spalting is the interesting colors, and bizarre figure that develops. However, spalted wood should be doused by the end user with CA glue or something similar to stabilize it and make it easy to work.

Not what I expected for the price. Very little spalting and almost no color variation.
