Aw, this underappreciated wood needs your attention. You might even mistake ash for oak because it shares a near-identical grain structure. Expect a porous grain with sweeping cathedral pattern and a nice near-white color that's consistent throughout. It's hard and durable - which is why you'll see it used in custom furniture, flooring, baseball bats, and also musical instruments.
- Thickness: 13/16'' thick, surfaced smooth two sides (4/4 S2S)
- Widths: 4''-10'' with the edges still rough. Straight line ripping on one edge is available as well (see below).
- Lengths: Up to 8'. Longer lengths may be available for local pick up or truck freight shipment. Contact us to verify.
- Grade: Select & Better. See our page about Hardwood Grading for some details about common lumber grades and their definitions.

Your products are always just what I would have picked off the shelf had I been there myself. Unfortunately, shipping charges force me to make this my last order from Wodworker's Source.
