Aspidosperma spp   Color: Tan with an orange cast; slightly darker growth rings are faintly visible.   Tree: A very large tree with long, clear trunks. Large, clear lumber is frequent.   Wood Description: Works easily depite its density, and has a nice 'glow' when it's polished. The color remains rather creamy orange-tan. Far more stable than Peroba Rosa, which is also in the Aspidosperma family   Typical Uses: Furniture, flooring, interior millwork.   Growth Region: Only in the higher elevations of Peru
