Rustic hickory includes sound knots, color variety (dark heartwood & light sapwood, mineral streaks) for a rustic appearance.
Hickory wood is a popular choice when you want some character. And this rustic variety has it. Though it contains plenty of knots, the boards are graded for tight sound knots - and this gives you the most usage out of your boards. It also gives you a nice low price. Assembled for your peace of mind and ease of purchasing, these PRO Packs have the serious furniture maker in mind. Including a total of 100 board feet of our premium lumber and the shipping costs within the 48 U.S. (Normally these arrive by UPS in 4-6 individual packages that are easy to handle). You'll get an assortment of widths (typically between 4'' and 10''), and lengths will be between 4' and 8'. Purchase a PRO Pack when you need enough wood to make a several medium to large projects like a kitchen cabinets, bedroom furniture, etc. As usual, all the lumber is surfaced on two sides (S2S), and kiln dried.
Thickness: 13/16'' thick, surfaced smooth two sides (4/4 S2S) Widths: 4''-10'' variety with rough edges. Straight line ripping on one edge is available as well (see below). Lengths: An assortment of lengths from 4' up to 8'; longer lengths may be available if shipping by truck freight. Contact us to verify. Grade: Knotty / Rustic (sound knots, color variety).
