Cordia megalantha   Color: Dark brown with black stripes; rosewood like.   Tree: May grow to 100 feet in height with trunk diameters of 24'' to 36'' but some trees have grown to over 60'' diameter.   Wood Description: Medium texture, straight grain, and pronounced striping. Very attractive and is easy to work with hand tools and traditional machinery.
