One Fantastic Tool
The ruggedness and performance of POWERMATIC® are built into this left tilting, contractor style table saw. Complete with a precision ground cast iron table with beveled front edge which facilitates smooth transition of the miter gauge as it moves over the front edge of the table. The T-slot miter gauge with positive stops allows for wider stock to be cut more accurately. The exclusive 3VX belt is more efficient than standard belts and offers less vibration. This machine has a lockable push button switch with a removable safety key. It comes standard with the Accu-Fence® system with 30" rip capacity to the right of the blade, and a melamine-surfaced wood extension table. Two cast iron wings and an independent leaf safety guard are standard features of this heavy duty contractor table saw.

Great compromise, 3.30.2010

This saw has the features and accuracy of a cabinet saw with the accufence system and the steel wing. The left tilt provides added benifits. If you don't have room or money for the cabinet saw this works great! Wired for 230v is optimal as 115v seems to underutilize the saws power. I have had 4 years with my saw and I still love hearing it start up every time.
